VaraveeNa geetam lyrics – meaning:
Oh, mother! You are holding precious veena in your soft hands and is a queen with eyes like lotus petals,
You are the sacred form of Kalyani and are worshiped by the gods, who is having beautiful curly hair like a cluster of fireflies (the poet’s description of Goddess Lakshmi’s hair as it is like fireflies when they go round and round).
O Lakshmi Devi, you are the kind-natured one who always bestows victories with many incomparable good qualities.
You are the consort of Lord Ranganatha who bestows our favorite boons. You fulfill the desires of your devotees.
O Mother of Lord Brahma, whose seat is the lotus flower, victory to you who has the nature of bestowing victories on us.

Tip:
Make a habit of writing everything you learn in a book. Writing allows you to focus your mind on what you are learning, then you will understand the lyrics of any song you are learning. If you understand the lyrics, you can get immersed in the song and sing along.
Writing down songs will increase your memory, allowing you to sing without the need for a book.
