Bantureethi koluvu lyrics in English with meaning: Bantu reeti koluvu is one of the works composed by Sri Tyaagaraaja in Hamsanaadam Raga, Aadi taaLam.
Tyaagaraaja Swamy, best known for his “Pancharatna Kritis”, is one of the greatest composers of Carnatic music.
‘Bantu reeti koluvu’ Lyrics Meaning:
Pallavi: O Sri Raamachandra! Grant me a great job of being your servant.
Anupallavi: Lord, grant me the opportunity to be eternally in your presence as a servant who knocks down and destroys all the Arishadvargas (Kaama, Krodha, Moha, Mada, Matsaryas) of the wicked and those who listen to them.
CharaNam: O Father, give me the best and strongest armor to protect the body, a coin that has an emblem saying I am your devotee, the precious sword of Rama’s name, and grant me the resplendent and eternal boon as your servant.
