How Music & Dance are useful for Elders.

Hello Everyone,

Anjali here, hope everybody is safe and helpful to each other to come out of this pandemic. And also hoping that all 45+ have been vaccinated.

As I told you earlier, we are teaching Music and Dance online. For these classes elders are showing more interest. So, I thought to share my thoughts to give a push to you to get to join in our classes.

Because of this Pandemic, offices have been closed and other activities like get-togethers, outings etc where people used to go out and enjoy is not possible for at least another year.

So, we have come up with online classes. Students can learn from their home mostly on their convenient timings.

By learning Music and Dance you are going to refresh your mind, and you will have an extra physical activity as well.

Music

Here I am teaching Carnatic Music from basics and you will also be going to learn different kind of songs. Some of you have learned music earlier or in your childhood, right?? Let’s refresh some. Music will amuse your brain and heart; you will be relieved from your day-to-day stress.

After learning you can participate in competitions, family functions etc.. now a days people are encouraging their elderly parents and grandparents to do something like this. They are very popular even.

Listen different kind of songs and try to sing to improve your voice culture. For music, theory and practical both are important so you can also learn theory in our institute. Instead of saying learning just say refresh if you learned in your early days of your life, what do you say??.

Dance

There are many types of dance forms but here we teach free style dance which means we teach dance on popular songs of telugu, tamil, kannada, hindi, English so on. It will help you to perform in competitions, you can also participate in family/official functions.

Dance is a great physical exercise too. As an elder You must have some physical activity, right??. Dance will give mental and physical relaxation.

Listen different kind of songs and try dance by choreographing all by yourself to improve your body language. For dance also theory and practical both are important so you can also learn theory in our institute to show your ability and command on dance.
