Maa telugu talliki mallepudanda
Maa telugu talliki mallepudanda lyrics in English with meaning: This song is the state anthem of Andhra Pradesh, written by Shri Shankarambaadi Sundaraachaari.
In this, the author commemorates the famous rivers, culture, literature, and famous people in Telugu history.
This song was sung sweetly by Smt. Tanguturi Suryakumari in Aabheri raga and got recognition after she released it privately on a gramophone record.
The author said “Amaraavati guhala apurupa shilpaalu”, but since there are no caves there, in later times they started singing “Amaraavati nagara”.
Maa telugu talliki mallepudanda – Lyrics meaning:
A garland of jasmine flowers for our mother and a harati for the mother who gave birth to us. Our salutations to the mother who grows crops like gold, with kindness in her eyes and with a smile from whose smile wealth doth flow.
With full of life and vitality the Godavari River is flowing enthusiastically and the Krishna River is rushing over this land, with those river’s plentiful water, crops like gold shall yield bountiful, and grain like pearls glinting shall roll forth.
The amazing sculptures of the city of Amaravati, the songs sung in the voice of Shri Tyagaraja Swami, and the wonderful writings from the pen of the author Thikkana Somayaji, may remain on this earth forever…
Let us sing songs and play games about the greatness of queen Rudramadevi’s strength, Mallamma’s loyalty, Mantri Thimmarasu’s intellectuality, and Shri KrishNadevaraya’s glory until our ears ring with pleasantries. Victory be to our Telugu mother who gave birth to such great children.

Tip:
Know the greatness of our National Anthems: Nowadays when we sing National Anthems we mostly remember our soldiers, but before independence, every citizen of India was a part of the National Anthem and they used to sing these songs with pride and admiration.
Every person directly or indirectly fought to free India from foreign rule. That’s why while singing these songs remember their sacrifice, hard work, effort, and perseverance once and sing it.
If you sing in such a way, it will make others involved in your song. It may not happen in all cases but it is bound to happen. Then the feeling you get is indescribable. Hoping you will sing well and show honor to our country and our Telugu people. Jai Hind….
