Harathi meerela ivvare – Lyrics meaning:
Pallavi: Give aarati to the goddess Parvati who is the mother of us all.
Anupallavi: Offer aarati to Parameshwari, the one who is as pure as gold, the greatest of all studies that give us knowledge.
CharaNam 1: Worship the feet and offer garlands made of Paarijaata flowers to that mother.
Give aarati to the mother who wears a garland of fine pearls, vaddaaNam decorated with small bells, anklets, paapita billa made of diamonds, bottu, nose ring etc.
CharaNam 2: Stay close and worship the wife of Lord Rudra (Shiva) who does not care no matter how much we call her, the Shankari, the form of Omkara, the beauty who adorns saffron bottu on her forehead, who brings good fortune.
CharaNam 3: Stack the lamps with a lakh of wicks, and dear ladies anoint the goddess with turmeric and saffron that you have brought in plates.
Offer the aarati with joy glorifying the merciful goddess who kills the demons and saves us.

Practice consistently:
Learning music requires regular practice. If we listen to a song two to three times, sing what we understand and think we have learned is foolishness. Such practice is useless.
