The poet has beautifully described that Lord Sri MahavishNu who sleeps on the milk ocean has incarnated as Lord Sri Krishna who steals butter, Parandham who approaches the devotees and fulfills their desires and the romantic Sugunadham who steals the heart of Radha.
Vanamaali vasudev – Lyrics Meaning:
Pallavi: O Lord Krishna, adorned with garlands of wildflowers, also known as Vasudeva, you have a moon-like face and eyes as beautiful as lotus flowers, you are adored by the gopikas and also the whole world and are the lover of Radha.
CharaNam-1: Hey KrishNa, Radha’s beloved friend, you float over the ocean of milk, dwell in the heavenly world, remove the sorrows of the poor and this entire world is like a stage to you and you lead our dramatic life and bless us.
CharaNam-2: Hey Sreeranga, the beloved friend of Radha. You steal butter and share it with other shepherd boys. You fulfill your devotee’s desires and bless them as always.
