Pidikita talambrala – Lyrics meaning:

Pallavi: The Annamacharyas described the bride Padmavati Devi, who was marrying Lord Venkateswara Swamy, holding the talambraas (holy rice) in her hands and shying away from looking directly at her husband standing in front of her and smiling slightly.

CharaNam 1: Our young bride of good repute, wearing a long necklace of pearls around her neck, is described as bowing her head shyly as she was asked the name of her Lord by the surrounding ladies.

CharaNam 2: Our bride, who wears beautiful anklets, has an extremely good reputation than her husband.

She is described as sneaking shyly behind the elderly women, and giving her husband a lovable glance.

CharaNam 3: Our bride wore a large garland of flowers in her long braid, and on her wedding day she wore many beautiful varieties of sarees.

It is described that when her husband Lord Venkateswara swamy hugs her tightly, the slow-moving goddess Padmavati is well-soothed in his embrace.

Tip:

Sometimes no matter how hard we try to sing, it will not move any further. We feel like we are singing something wrong, but the more we sing, the more we sing the same mistake.

In such cases, take your time and find out where the problem is, leave it for a while and rest or engage in something else, then try again, it will surely come.
